Rate increase from March 1st 2019

Posted 9 Feb 2019

For the last three years we have charged the same rate for our counselling & psychotherapy services in spite of rising offices expenses, supervision costs, CPD training, registration fees, insurance and banking fees. As much as we’d like to maintain the same rates through 2019, we find that we must increase them to continue provide quality counselling, and psychotherapy services. Effective from March 1st, 2019 the new rates will be:

  • Initial Consultation: (90 minutes) £65 before engaging in any therapeutic service, our policy requires all clients to have an assessment. This allows us to gain information on a clients issues, concerns, therapeutic goals and jointly develop a treatment plan with each client.

    • Counselling: (50 minutes) £50
    • Psychotherapy: (90 minutes) £70
    • Counselling (under 18): (50 minutes) £45
    • Walk and talk/Outdoor therapies: (60 minutes) £50
    • Animal Assisted therapy (room based) (50 minutes) £50
    • Outdoor Animal Assisted Therapy: (60 minutes) £60
    • Equine Facilitated Learning: (90 minutes) £80
    • Equine Facilitated Learning (under 18): (60 minutes) £70
    • Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy: (90 minutes) £100
    • Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy: (120 minutes) £120
    • Clinical Supervision: (90 minutes) £75

Home visits will also be available with mileage charged at 45ppm on top of the appointment cost.

We will still offer a 10% discount for blocks of six sessions that are paid for in advance.

This increase will enable us to continue to provide the quality and breadth of services. If you have any questions about the price increase or our new packages, don’t hesitate to let us know.
