We offer an introductory 20 minute chat, free of charge over the phone or online, where we can talk about your problems in general terms and check if we are the right service for you. If we feel that our training or approach isn’t suitable for the support you require we may signpost you to other resources.

At Pony Partnerships, we are committed to offering high-quality, person-centred support that is safe, effective, and appropriately tailored to each individual’s needs. You may notice that sessions delivered by Dr Danielle Mills are priced differently from those delivered by members of our Associate Team. This reflects the difference in qualifications, training, and experience. Dr Danielle Mills (PhD, MSc, PGCert, BSc Hons, MBACP Accred, FHEA) is an accredited psychotherapist and senior practitioner with over a decade of experience supporting children, young people, and families. Danielle has specialist training in Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy, EMDR, trauma, neurodivergence, and complex mental health. She also provides clinical supervision to other professionals, contributes to research and policy development, and leads on complex casework.

Our Associate Team are also highly skilled professionals, each carefully selected for their experience, compassion, and shared values. While their sessions are priced at a different rate, they work under Danielle’s guidance, and uphold the same high standards of trauma-informed, neurodivergence-affirming practice. Whilst we cannot guarantee their therapeutic effectiveness, we have chosen to work with them due to them working in a way that is aligned with our ethics and values, so feel confident to recommend their services.

In short, Danielle’s sessions may be more appropriate where:

• Clinical leadership or higher-level assessment is needed
• Complex trauma, mental health, or therapeutic formulation is involved
• Strategic input around pathways, transitions, or multi-agency working is required

We aim to ensure that every individual receives the right support at the right level, and we are always happy to discuss which member of the team may be the best fit for your needs.

Please note that the fees below are for private paying individuals, rates will vary when paying via EAP, insurance companies, education or social care due to the increased financial & administrative requirements; rates are agreed with each company and will vary. Additional information

• Home visits will also be available with mileage charged at 50ppm on top of the appointment cost. Travel time will also be charged.
• We can assist with case management and write reports at a charge of £36.75 an hour.
• We can discuss subsidies or discounts on an individual, case by case basis.
• Since scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time specifically for your provision, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling or cancelling client appointments. Unless we reach a different agreement, the full fee will be charged for sessions missed without such notification.
• In the event of a serious accident, emergency, or other similar situation outside your control, please deal with your situation first and notify me at the earliest convenient time, or we will follow up with you typically within 24 to 48 hours of the missed appointment.
